The Board of Directors of Friends of PHA Bahamas provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction to ensure the organization fulfills its mission effectively. The board is composed of dedicated professionals committed to enhancing healthcare services in the Bahamas through governance, fundraising, and advocacy.

Board Composition

The Board of Directors consists of individuals with diverse expertise, including healthcare, finance, legal, nonprofit management, and community development. The board is structured to promote transparency, accountability, and effective decision-making.

Board Members

Board Committees

The board operates through specialized committees that focus on key areas of governance and operations. These may include:

  • Finance & Audit Committee – Ensures proper financial oversight and transparency.
  • Governance & Compliance Committee – Reviews policies, bylaws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Fundraising & Development Committee – Leads donor engagement and fundraising efforts.
  • Programs & Outreach Committee – Supports healthcare initiatives and partnerships.

Board Meetings and Decision-Making
